We’re excited to announce our first-ever Boxing Out Negativity Fundraising Dinner. Join us for an evening of food, music, and celebration on Friday, October 11th! Doors open at 6pm at Hughes Hall, in the lower level of Old St. Pat’s, 700 W. Adams, Chicago.
Hear from coach and founder Derek Brown, a North Lawndale native who has devoted his past 10 years to keeping youth from the path he traveled earlier in life. His high impact work has been featured by outlets including CNN, ABC News, Vice News, PBS, and Al-Jazeera.
And, hear directly from youth about the impact of our work!

There will be a a powerful feature performance by the Example Setters, a spoken word and poetry team from Chicago’s South side.
Dinner will be provided. Enjoy the silent auction!
