Last year’s inaugural Street Love Ride brought such positive energy that we’ve added a second ride to our 2021 calendar! We invite the city to join our first annual “Bike Out Negativity” Expo & Ride to kick off summer with a celebration of Chicago’s youth on Saturday, May 22nd, 2021. This ride is for cyclists of all ages!
There will be a community expo from 10am – 1pm. At 1pm we’ll kick off an approx. 6 mile “fun ride” through the West side. Join the phenomenon as we stand (and ride) in love and positivity: One Chicago for our city’s youth!
The features of this event keep growing: A drum line performance by the youth of Celestial Ministries; the distribution of youth athletic kits, including a youth-sized basketball, from our friends at Four Point Play; free hair cuts for kids from Pro Image Cutz; free books from Open Books (through their “North Lawndale Reads” initiative)… and so much more! You’ll have to see it for yourself.
To register to attend (free and open to all!): https://bikeoutnegativity2021.eventbrite.com/
